Buildings and Energy Efficiency

Focussing on uses of technology, architecture and building design to reduce the University's carbon emissions.
Group Key Contact: Kassandra Reuss-Schmidt
Current Ideas and Projects:
1) Using the University's huge knowledge base to improve the energy metering strategy.
2) Monitoring room temperatures and conditions via student feedback.
3) Using ARUP's energy usage projections to understand the data behind the University's energy strategy and monitor progress.
4) Effective use of space to reduce the need for new building developments.
5) Mapping the campus.
