'The Future of Buildings - a retrofit showcase' - 9 Nov 2016 event feedback and first impressions

On November 9th, our network organised a larger event entitled 'The future of buildings - a retrofit showcase' - an evening of presentations and networking to talk about how to address the issue of energy inefficient housing in the UK.
Please find the full details of the event on our website here.
This blog post is aimed to show you a few impressions and the feedback we received.
The evening was very successful, considering the number of people that came and the mood we could capture with our 'quick and easy' feedback wall Adam came up with (see picture to the right). Also summarised in the graph below, most people said they had learned something, feel more motivated to retrofit and connected to people that can help do it.

Nearly 300 people registered and more than 200 came and may contribute in some way or shape in reducing energy consumption at home. What more do you want?
Well, as you know from our announcements, all lectures have been recorded by a great film team and will be made available on our YouTube channel as soon as they are ready. That way we hopefully provide our presenters contribution to a much wider audience, and keep it as a resource for students, community members and university staff. We also aim to provide more summaries and take away messages to make it easier to learn from.
Until the videos and summaries are ready to go online, we thought we share with you the photos Lucy took from speakers and audience throughout the evening.
We hope you like it!
Again, thank you to our fabulous speakers for coming, for our exibitors and of course our audience!

News of the building of the infrastructure is done for the comfort of the people. The new design of the map is argued for the humans. It has been marginal for the completion of the goals for the sentiment of the world.
