Hope to see you at our first CNU open meeting in 2017, 26 January, 5pm

Dear friends and supporters,

welcome in the new year and we hope you had a great start!
Thank you also for your support last year!

If you had a good break and your work or exams haven't worn you down too much..., please be aware that our first CNU open meeting is happening this Thursday. Obviously we would like as many people as possible to come around and provide energy on a sustainable carbon neutral vision for the university.

CNU open meeting details:

Thursday, 26 January, 5-7pm
Pool Seminar Room A85, Richard Roberts Building

We will take on continue working on previous projects and always want to hear new ideas that make our university and region a more environmentally sustainable place.

In a nutshell, we will discuss news, progress on ongoing projects and ideas.
Here is an overview of key projects and plans we will discuss:

• Working group report: 'Change event' focusing how to implement change in an institution
• Working group report: Sustainability information video in collaboration with Green Impact
• Working group report: Sustainability forum (internal university communication)
• CNU Seminar series in preparation: seeking working group members (especially we seek students to organise that from our student society)
• organise training for CNU members: seeking working group members (especially we seek students to organise that from our student society)
• Passivhaus retrofit event summary - videos are are in final editing stage, anybody interested in writing a summary blog, please come around or get in touch with us
• setting up a skilled video team - we are in the process to arrange creative media training to be able to record future events and interviews - come around or get in touch if you are interested - special training opportunity see below
  
• our coordinators are in the process of preparing to hire a part time student admin to help us deal with communication and administration

Special training opportunity for students: We would really like to ask student from our network who are interested in creative media training to come forward. You will learn how to use video equipment and edit film material (i.e. interviews). We have more CNU events in the pipeline and could really use a team of skilled media volunteers to record them for online publication. Please get in touch if you are interested.
